Protein Muesli Bars
1 cups rolled oats
1/4 cup sugar free maple syrup
1/2 cup of paleo mix
(seeds & nuts)
3 scoops of protein Powder
water to mix
Put the oats, paleo mix, maple syrup in a bowl. Mix through and add protein powder.
At this stage you can add other things like Phsyllium Husk, Shredded Coconut or Cocoa bits.
Once the mixture is mixed put it in a non stick tray. Bake it for about 10min.
It doesn't raise, so to check it, grab a fork and push down on it. it should feel a bit solid.
Baking it gives it a carrot cake like texture.
Makes sure it doesn't stay in the oven too long as it will dry it out.
Take out and cool down. If it feels too solid it, still be fine but it may be a little on the dry side. So time it right.
Tip: Pep it up with some berries, veg or fruits for extra moisture and flavours
